Hard Disk f*ck*n Jumpa? You guys dont know either!

To start with yeah.. srry for the mild language but you gotta believe me..

I was getting my hard disk ready to perform the HDloader on my PS2 and to my surprise I needed to change it to "master".

    Here goes the question:
-"Where is, the f*c*ing litle bastard?!"

I got 4 HDD, never knew about the "jumppers" existence and now that I needed only 1, I have none of them.

Do you guys know where can I get one, or even better, can you tell me if there is anyway of making something to block those pins?

I mean... dam where am I gonna buy that little plastic thing and by the way, tommorow is still sunday :noooo: ...

Try radioshack, or look in the phonebook for a little mom&pop style computer store around you, they should have some laying around. Hell, i bet if you went to best buy and asked their computer service are for one theyd probably have one they could just give you.

If you have an old motherboard, you can probably pull one off of that. Even if it is too long, you could flip it around to still make the connection.

In addition to motherboards, it might be worth hunting through any old PC junk you have lying around. Many old PC cards used to have lots of these jumpers, back in the day.

    Thanks for the replies everyone.
I have an old motherboard(from 2003 I guess) around... gotta check it when I get back home!

Loool, there is no "best buy" store here in Portugal xD But thanks for the advice, it was funny =)

Edit: Couldn't find it on RadioShak.

You can block the other pins and solder the ones you need together.
