GS-9116 serial number. Released in normal form..
Yes, I know this, I own it but what I was trying to say that if you only owned the original release of Sega Rally then getting the satakore version would be a good idea. As for Street Fighter Zero Dash, I own that as well but had forgotten all about it :-( However you could then say that buying that is a waste of time since it come with the Street Fighter Collection discs.

Yeah but at least they have different titles (SF Zero 2 Dash, SF Collection) and 1 is included into the other one.
They're woth collecting, they're not variations.

If a fullset can be finished only when you have all the variations for a same game, then you can also search for all the different masters for a game.Same game, same barcode, same package BUT a different master number and a different ROM inside.Besides,a different master would mean that the game itself is a also a bit different than the previous version. So it's even more important.

Then I guess it's almost a no-end(and also not really interesting)task.Getting the most complete version for each game like Adol does is the most logical solution.

Can you give any examples for a different master? The only thing that pops up in my mind is the PAL-Version og Bug! Too with the main caracter "bug" who misses his head (for some mysterious circumstances).
<- can someone please make this as a repro and sell it so me?

I've seen you mention your Saturn collection before and meant to ask you about it. I'm glad you posted pictures. Seeing it is nothing short of amazing.

You may not be any richer than any of us, but that's because you spent all your money on games! If we sold our games, we'd each get a few beers... maybe a holiday if we're lucky. If you sold your games, you could buy a mansion, and a Ferrari to park on the drive! I'm sure you must have spent a lot of money on your games. I always wonder what you must do for a living. French Mafia, perhaps? :-P

You would be of great help to me in my research, by the way. I'll have to talk to you sometime ;-)

Your collections are really amazing! Fullsets aren't something I'm into personally, but walking into a room with that much Sega would probably have me curled up in a happy ball on the floor.

Can I ask - what will you do when you've collected everything you wanted to collect? When you've completed a collection do you spend some time with it or are you straight onto the next one?

My remark was for fullset in general, not really for the saturn especially. It was just for saying you should put limits if you do a fullset(especially if you're doing several of them).

I don't even know if a game with a different master was released on japanese saturn.I don't know how you can know about it also?

I actually am a lawyer and even if I secure lucrative positions, there's no way in hell i can afford to collect all that! Space costs money, insurance costs money, acquisition costs money, and time spent to find all of them costs money! lol

You spoke about it some days ago. Both came out on 18th July 1997.
It's a variation of Yukyuu Gensokyokuu Genteiban (T-27805)
    (In fact,the opposite)
I'm getting this one anyway,it should arrive shortly i hope.

And i know other lawyers who earn 30000€/month. Incomes can vary in such job,no? :) That's the point of liberal work,no?
    I'm not one yet, though.

I know very well which time&money, which effort it takes to collect all those games. If it was that easy, i wouldn't be the only one with 24 fullsets :)

But if i managed to do it at the age of 28 (i'm collecting since 10-15 years though),being a student (and later a worker), why a lawyer wouldn't be able to do it?

About space, space isn't the same depending where you're located (Paris or London, or the last village of Bengladesh)

    Damn,you're right! Thank you.

Ps: Still waiting pictures of your 25 fullsets.
Can't wait to see how they look like, you seem to know so well which effort it takes to get those babies, with ALL variations :)

during your first two years, making 30.000 Euros per month? Allow me to doubt that :P

I m 22 btw, and I m not really big on collecting things I won't play to be honest. Whenever I have money I usually invest in shares or property. Hence, not much is left for my "fantasy-world" collecting. Not having my own house and being an international (negogiatiing) type of lawyer, I can't say I could handle the stress of having my stuff moved. I d be heart-broken if a single scratch was layed on my stuff!!

    2) How could i know you're 22?
    You say you're a lawyer,you could have 45, i can't know it.
I'm having my own house now,so space isn't a problem anymore.I'm not collecting arcade cabinets though.

well I guess it is inferred through the "even if" statement - or you can always click on my profile (through clicking my DD Disk avatar) and see the picture of me as well as my age details! =)

no worries though, no need to be defensive! it's lovely to see someone with such dedication

Being a lawyer at 22 is impressive too.
That is just impossible in France,as you need a 4 year degree to pass the "test", and then a 3 year practice to be officially a lawyer.
    7 years minimum,then.

Ah but I never claimed to be insane enough to buy games that I will never play, I don't see the point of having a game whose sole purpose is to sit on the shelf and collect several layers of dust, I rather just buy games which I will play or like enough to collect, which is still a sizable amount.

The only one I did collect in full is a complete Japanese Mega CD collection with all varients.

Could you post a picture of it when it arrived at your shelf? Beside the EMIT Value Pack, Yuukyuu non-GTB version is actually the only Saturn game that I've not managed to find a "real life" picture of yet.
BTW: whats inside of that EMIT set? It seems "fatter" than the other Koei boxsets to me for some reason!?
<- can someone please make this as a repro and sell it so me?
