Last Thursday I woke up and while I was in my way to college, I noticed a bit of fog, later in the afternoon I heard on the news that a huge fire was out of control near Buenos Aires, Argentina. I didn't pay any attention since I'm about 500 KM away (Montevideo, Uruguay). Yesterday the fog seemed to be almost gone.

But when I woke up it was a lot different. The whole city was covered by smoke. And it wasn't "just some fog" this time, there wasn't a single cloud in the sky but it was in a grey colour. The smell is really strong even inside my house, and in the clearest moments you can see only one or two blocks away.

And the smoke is just getting worse...

EDIT: I just took an extremely crappy pic (it's all my phone can handle in a moment that the fog is dense enough to be visible inside a house), but with this you can figure out how it is here right now...

I've been hearing a lot about this subject in the news, fortunately smoke hasn't reached my country yet, and probably never will because of the Andes mountain range (for those who doesn't know Argentina borders Chile to the west)

From the images i've seen in the news, right now Buenos Aires looks exactly like Silent Hill
