Exactly, works also with DC/GC versions. But you're right, its only fun for 5 minutes, Ikaruga is a shooter that was made for vertical gameplay and thats it.Originally Posted by GaijinPunch

As Ikagura did get released in the west, it showing up on xbox live is nice but if you have it on say Gamecube or Dreamcast then it's not really a must have purchase.
As for RS on the Xbox 360, I think there is more chance of a Bill Gates strip poker game appearing first...

Boo YAThe game was not released outside of Japan. However, Masato Maegawa has recently hinted that the game could appear on Xbox Live Arcade for the Xbox 360 with high-definition visuals.

Uh... where? The only time they ever commented on RS on 360 was when they said:
"Well, thats a nice idea, but it'd be a lot of work, and we'd rather make new games than port another one."
Seriously, porting Ikaruga DELAYED their NEW game. I would much rather they work on a NEW 2D shooter for the 360 than port games I already own.

It's very nice looking in HD, and I'm guessing it's cheaper on the 360 then on GC/DC. sucks it's digital, but whatever. I didn't buy it because I've played it enough and don't wanna spend 10 bucks right now. I love these HD rereleases though, like Rez.

I downloaded the demo, but I'll stick with my DC copy. At least with that I can use my arcade sticks I have without having to buy another controller.
I stick with Assembler's opinion, paying money for Downloads equals wasting it.
I have Ikaruga for GC and DC and both versions have lovely features (also both have exclusives, if only gameplay-wise) on their own.
And as jp. stated already, there's no Radiant Silvergun in sight. I wouldn't download it either, wheres the point in downloading a 32 bit game that has been scaled up to 1080p? There's none I think.

Oh by the way, there was an interview with Treasure awhile ago, and they are making an exclusive shmup for the x360. g-rev listed it as Radiant Silvergun 3, but in the interview they said it will be a whole new game unrelated to rsg/ikaruga. (g-rev listed the game next to Nights for the Wii, back when it was just a wild rumor)
