Some info on this Sachen cart I got today?

I was browsing a local video game store earlier today and purchased this:


This was mixed in with the rest of the Gameboy carts and I purchased it for $10. I have not tried the game yet, but from what I have read, it is a Sonic ripoff/hack. Anyone else ever seen one of these or could shed more light on it? I only bought it because I had never seen a Sachen Gameboy cart (I thought they only did NES/Famicom). Thanks.

I never heard of any Sonic games for the original Gameboy, if it's a Sonic hack, we would be talking about a hack of a homebrew port, what cannot be good at all...

And by the way, it's the first time I see a Sachen Gameboy card but I heard of them before. Give it a try and find out what's inside when you have a chance ¬_¬

Funny, Sachen GB games normally come in Sachens own GB type of cartridge. The game is an original game by Sachen, not a hack, but yes a rip off of Sonic.

The game also exists for the Nintendo Entertainment System (Famicom).

As for the GB version I think I dumped it back in the day (returning after a little bit of searching... yes I indeed did - http://releases.pocketheaven.com/?system=gbc&section=release&rel=0500 ). So if anyone else wants to check out the game the rom image is out there :-)
