    Windows Longhorn

Anyone know what the latest leaked version is?

    And how is it running?

Anyone using it as their main OS?

    Thnx

I used build 4029 for a while, and it worked great. Not seen a leak of the newer updates though, but I have not been looking. The Java Desktop OS on the other hand I wouldn't mind giving a blast!

An OS based on Java? Geez, few times have I heard something as pointless as that :smt042

Don't knock it, its a godsend for a lot of *nix developers!

    Take a look.

    *edit*

Project Looking Glass looks to be a welcome step forward in OS's. I believe Longhorn was announced to have the same features, funnily enough almost immediately after the Sun presentations. :smt083

Funny since microsoft6 was responsible for blocking what could have been a huge contention of web sites all made with specialized java like how some decked out flash sites run. :-(

Used Longhorn 2xxx iirc, it was a mess. A mate tried out 4029 and said it was much better, but not quite stable enough for his primary OS. He has it dual booted with XP if I understood him correctly.
