I think I got a good price for both statue, a made a best offer of 90$ to both seller on ebay and both have accepted. Look like those big statue are hard to sell I think. But since they are pretty heavy each cost me about ~35$ of shipping.

All through, the skull kid is smaller it look a lot better than the fierce deity link IMO, the statue have a lot more detail.

I got some time to play with the last jap games I received and the jap collector edition disk for cube is a lot better than the US one. Both FC game are the original disk version with extra FDS sound. You can even see the loading screen in both game, The emulator seam to automatically change the disk side when needed (or maybe Nintendo modified both game). Only change I see in the two game is that you can now save by using the A+D pad trick on the first controller, unlike on second controller in original version (This change was also in the us version of the disk).

I know that both nes version of the us disc have been dumped, but I don't remember to have see FDS image from that disc around. I will dump my disc and try to extract it's content to see if I can found something interesting ;)

I played a bit more with the Japanese collector edition and Majora's Mask have only 2 save slot unlike the original Japanese n64 release which have 3 save slot. I haven't tried it yet but that probably mean that this version can save inside dungeon like the US and PAL version.

I've dumped the disc and I was able to extract both OOT and MM from it but FDS ROM doesn't seem to be listed under the GCM file system like the two N64 ROM. I looked also inside an US image of the disc and I can't find nes ROM also. So the game probably fetch those rom within the *.tgc file of both game (I converted the tgc to gcm and burned it and zelda1 load directly so the rom is for sure somewhere inside the file).

I looked both zelda and link tgc file with an hex editor but I didn't found anything so it's probably encrypted in some way.

Anyone could help me with this?

Would be great to release those two FDS dump I think.

I've seen some of the OOT and MM manga go for $10 total on ebay. Definately keep a look out for those, very awesome stuff.

But even still, you're collection is epic at this point. I'm probably going to use it as a checklist now for my collection :P

Once you convert the TGC to GCM you should be able to open it with GC-Tool etc and extract the ROM, if it's like other Nintendo emulators. What files are in the coverted TGC?

Like I said only n64 can be extracted like that when you open the tgc who containt NES/FDS rom/image there is only one file which is opening.bnr

This is where you make a huge choice mate.

Do you go for packaging variations of the same thing (which is all he has done, all those nes zelda's will be simple language variations) or are you content owning 1 copy of all the games?

I can honestly say I much prefer your collection, its more to the point. As much as he has got it looks very messy to me. I am however loving his blistered games!

Personally if I had your collection the only things I would add would be -

The box sets your missing (MM)
A few more figures (some of the older ones are great)
Any alpha/beta stuff you can get hold of

I have a few nik-naks that you may be interested in, I will take some pics and let you know. You can have them for shipping costs cause I would just love to see them in your collection!

SHEEEITE!!! I thought I had a massive Nintendo collection , which I do with tonnes of odd and rare items, but some of the collection's on that site even put mine to shame, some are abit messy though, I agree on that point, but for quality and quantity, some of those collections are unreal. Some lovely mint stuff inside them that I just wanna grab into my room!!!

Also Darthcloud, you do have one of the bigget and best Zelda collection's in the world, so don't woory mate. There is always someone with bigger and better, but you should be damn happy with what you have, it's mighty impressive!!

Thanks guy ;) But what is really shocking is that he have two copy of each 3 limited edition released in Europe.

Will got them for sure someday let wait and see ;)

Also his "not for release" collection look like complete, I didn't even know that oracle, OOT, la or Zelda 1 had this kind of cart into circulation. I would really like to take them apart to see if they use standard ROM you know ;)

You got some really nice items I´m drooling about! I think I love the yellow NES test cart the most (the bloke of the link you posted didn´t have that one, does he?) and the Ique manual is awesome too! Great stuff.

@Nintendomad: You made me curious now, any chance you´ll be posting pics? :)

Don't worry DarthCloud, your collections great too!

I couldn't see he has this Zelda GBA related present. (^_^)

I think his not-for-sale collection isn't complete too becasue I didn't see The Hyrule Fantasy: Zelda no Densetsu Sample and Charumera Version as well (but I think they are all really, really difficult to collect though ^_^).

Yes this kind of collection is what trying to avoid. I prefer focusing on particular item rather than getting everything which had the "Zelda" word on it.

Still I'm a bit jealous of his European limited edition pak and is not for resale collection. ;)

But yeais I think the way I collect games is more accurate. I think he got a lot of label variation witch old the same ROM.

I haven't ever ear of that!

BTW Unless they have different rom inside "NFR" cart are not really interesting, I think if a saw some I will buy them for sure hoping to found something interesting but if they turn out to not have a special ROM, I will sell them back. So I will probably sold back my majora's mask NFR soon.

It was a present version, but I was told nothing is different in it, just the stickers/seals has got Charumera written on them. :(

Yeah I will as soon as I decide which digital camera to buy to replace my broken one. I'm still not sure whther just to plonk down the cash and get a really good one, and the only reason I don't have one right now, is I have a couple of 64dd development kit deal possibilities, and need to keep all my cash in case these come to fruition.

One interesting thing I have which not many people have seen, is the Gold Toys R us limited edition Starlight Gold Gamecube that came out in japan, and I always class this as the Zelda cube, lol!!

Definately some incredible stuff. That guy's collection is absolutely enormous, but don't let it get you down, your collection is still awesome

I'd say the most important things from his collection that you don't have are probably the limited edition adventure sets for MM, OOA, OOS and Minish Cap. Those things would look impressive in any collection!

I know but since I'm not located in Europe it's a bit hard to find.. eBay price look a bit overpriced for me. I've saw one MM kit finish over 600 EUR. I don't imagine how much could reach an oracles kit since it's a lot more limited than the MM one...
