For hat I recall, RARE planned to do a sequel to GoldenEye but as they didn't have the licence they turn it to Perfect Dark.

I wonder why they never did Tomorrow Never Dies? Awesome film, with some bits that'd be great in a game.

Totally. I can't come up with why they sold the license to someone else when Rare made a friggin' good game to start with. Maybe to reach out to more people since Rare would've been N64 exclusive.

Ahh yes, that awful EA game. Maybe the license had gone to them already? A shame, TND would have been great if done by Rare, I'm sure!

Hmm...Something telling me that Rare wasnt that intrested in doing a Goldeneye sequel at all is bugging me...Someone else recalls it?

What, Kammedo? Where did you get that from??

Q: Will there be another Bond game?

Tim: Yes, we are working on another game with the Bond team.

Chris: And at the moment they're working to make some significant improvements to the engine, so I'm sure they'll come up with something very exciting for the future.

well, Tim said "the Bond team" meaning the team that worked on Bond - I don't think it's any indication as to their intention regarding the subject matter of the game. He merely mentions the class of people working on the sequel.
