Info about Resident Evil 1.5

He put up an eBay auction for it for a few hours when all the shit was going down, that's why people think he has a copy, but he was just fanning the flames and being a general troll. He pretty much gave as good as he got in that situation, it was a bad situation but he brought a lot of it on himself, but the immature (sadly ever growing) portion of the RE community did start it off. The end situation is he doesn't have a copy though, not of 1.5 and probably not of some other stuff on his site, he just had access to document them and nothing more.

That is true. However, we can either take the word of Curator (and the few people who have been in touch with him) that he does not own a copy, or, we can continue to make assumptions and accusations based on no evidence other than he has had access to the game in the past. Curator has already said that the game did not belong to him, that's all the evidence you need, what you "think" is completely irrelevant.

This is what's really going on:

- Contacts from an unspecified group has posted images on Facebook and revealed details of an apparent project to translate the game, modify it to fix problems and make it as close to final as possible. It was mentioned that a release date has been set and is planned to be released.

- We don't know exactly who is working on it
- We don't know when the release date is
- We don't know exactly what is to be released

- We don't officially know anything other than convincing screen shots were posted

So take it for what it is. Apart from this we don't know anything more, as nothing has been discussed publicly since. It's safe to assume that nothing is happening in the immediate future, but something might be happening somewhere down the road within an unspecified time frame. Weeks, months, years, who knows? Let's wait and find out.

I must've misread it; I thought some guy got some screens from his friend in italy or whatever, and made a facebook page saying outlandish stuff like releasing it and fucking with people, I probably just misread. If anything I'm the confused one.

Indeed, time passes on a whim if you keep yourself busy. That's what I intend to do , hopefully it didn't seem like I was one of those guys who was crying about the time that's already passed and is just pleading for the said item. Whether it comes or not, we'll see what the future has in store!
