I know this is an off-topic request (sort of), but does anyone have a working link for that .rar file containing all of the "1.5" prototype backgrounds extracted from the Biohazard 2 Trial Edition disc?

Let me get this straight. An anonymous group/person is translating RE 1.5 into English and is drip feeding images onto Facebook?
I can only suspect they are translating it for the purpose of release as I can't see why they would make the effort otherwise. If they were to release ONLY the translated/modified version the original Japanese 1.5 version they (presumably) own would retain it's value on the collector's market.
Am I making any sense?

Well, John was textured and the Japanese font replaced with another one, but there's no screenshot making it clear that they are translating it, in English or in any other languages. It's not exactly sure what they are trying to do in detail; only time will tell.
Well, IMHO, the translated title screen is more than enough proof that they're translating the game. =)
As for the links asking, let's not go into that.
The RE community is showing a great ammount of maturity this time and it would be too sad to see a chance like this one being jeopardized by putting links around, easily accessible for some few rabid RE fans to stalk/spam/threat the group working on the project.
It's a waiting game.. but if this means that we'll finally get to play the proto in the end, sure it's worth it. ;)

That title screen pictures been around for years, as far as i remember it's fake, and the in game one is a mod i believe. There's been so much trash thrown around this game it's hard to remember where each piece came from
