Indeed, I thought it was quite a good joke as a number of laptops in the 90s still had mono displays or if they had colour displays they were DSTN and looked blurry, washed out and the screen was too white. I remember the memory checks just being a blur of numbers...

Also Fresh was a very much a 90s thing, reminds me of the UK kids Saturday morning TV show Get Fresh which had Starglider as a weekly challenge. :) The Atari ST looking amazing. :D

Anyway, about classic PC games, see if you can run a ST emu on that, since at a time there were better games on it than for PC.

I don't want to get involved in any trouble but I did find Shadowlayer's comment about the laptop really funny, besides Silverbolt said he got that laptop for mere oldschool gaming reasons, not as if it was the best he could afford, which in that case, Shadowlayer's comment would've been a bit aggressive, but it's clearly not the case.

I know I don't have been around here for a long time as to give my opinion in a discussion like this, but I just felt the need to add that comment.

Of course I have heard of Fresh prince of motherfucking Bell Air, but you are bloody forgetting. That back in the 90´s we didn´t have so many damn English words in the Danish language, and second of all. It was not a custom, using words from TV series. And second of all Fresh is still not used. After all, a lot of the names of different TV series was getting Danish titles. Even though we could read the English names. They just did have the Danish names. And that is nothing new, heck even back in the 70´s and 80´s (and probably before) TV series had sometimes Danish names for them.

the magazines are popular electronics, and new electronics. And both of them had an audio section too. In the magazines . Well I think I have more than 40 of those magazines. But back then homemade stuff, was the shit.

I just wanted to say thanks to WolverineDK for posting that link for Boppin, it was a blast playing that game for the first time in forever!! now if i could find my discs for Maniac Mansion and Day of the Tentacle id be set ( <----- completely forgot about those 2 games, DOTT was hilarious, at least when i played it for the first time when i was like 12 or 13) i cant remember who mentioned them ( sorry!!), but it definately inspired me to try and locate them again, plus, IIRC, i never finished Maniac Mansion.
