    Ripped off by FYE today

I bought $100 in gift cards went to go buy something with them + coupons.
I was then told at the register the $10 per $50 card was not valid until NEXT YEAR.
NOWHERE on the flyer does it say the cards are valid only at a future date,
and it's not mentioned on ANY of the signage in the store, nor mentioned by the employees.

The date notice is ON THE CARD you get AFTER you buy the gift cards.
There is no warning anywhere, and no returns of the gift cards BTW.

I have posted the flyer to show you what I mean.

I called FYE and sent an E-mail to see what they have to say about this.

    I feel gypped.

It says "card subject to terms and conditions", so did you ask for the terms and conditions for the card? It should have the dates the card is valid for in the small print but they can argue that you didn't ask so it's your own fault.

The "card subject" part is about their "rebates" being delivered as prepaid visa cards, not the bonus card.

That in iteself is bullshit too.

The small print looks really generic so they could argue the toss about what the card subject to terms and conditions means either card...

Your getting to become pretty unlucky. Sounds like life keeps kicking you in the teeth.

Nah, I have a lot of fun. But as they say, regrets are strongest in the mind.
