funnily enough, mine arrived back yesterday! Its a newer unit (still got a 9/2006 build date though) then mine was as my previousone was a dec 05. Looks brand new TBH.. Havent fired it up yet as havent had a chance...

the one i got back from M$ was indeed a brand new unit. i don't think they would have taken the time to clean smudges and stuff like that. i didn't bother even looking at the serial number or anything...
i think they just have a stack of htem and send them back out once the damage/fault has been established in the returned unit..

I have a new iMac dual core and wanted the 4Gb version. Apple were going to charge me £99 per Gb so I accepted the 1Gb version and bought 2 x 2Gb sticks from www.crucial.com for £64.00 (this isn't spam btw).
So, I have the genuine Samsung memory stick supplied by Apple spare - £99 for 1Gb is a joke, plus frankly I don't need this stick.

Not sure if we can request things here, but if anyone has a spare male round C shape 8 DIN connector (the sort of connector that PC-Engine and Mega Drive mk1 have) and RCA male (preferably white!) lying around I'd really apprecaite if they could send it to mein exchange for a couple of quid as it would save me a long trip into town to overpriced Maplins (Or buying a bulk lot of them as Maplins never seem to have the connectors in stock!)

I own an Xbox retail Kiosk, which had a piss poor Thomson TV (the original monitor provided by MS) in the unit. In a bid to repair it I bought a 3rd party remote, but adjusting the settings made no bit of difference.
So, if you own or plan to own an Xbox Kiosk with a Thomson TV then this is the item for you. Free to anyone who should require it (PM me) so long as you are in Europe. It'll only work with the European Kiosk as all the others had different TVs in 'em as far as I can tell.
Anyone interested?
