    The free stuff thread

Items that exchange hands should be 100% free, minus shipping.

People should limit themselves so that other people get a chance.
Basically, I don't wantone person screaming "Meeee!!!" on every thread.

You must have at least 50 posts to ask for anything listed here.

You can ask for any old woman
You can ask for an army of ants
You can ask for a pillar of poison

I have a standard retail Playstation 2 (old style) PAL which is in mechanically sound order other than it needs a new laser. It could be plundered for spares or used with an HDD running on HD Advance or something as it still reads CD - boot using CD HD advance etc.

Available to anyone who wants it, preferably in the UK as it'll be easier. Shipping will be roughly £9.00 I'd imagine. GONE! <Port 187 accepted offer>

I also have a standard Playstation 1 (old style) PAL unit which works perfectly. Shipping would be roughly £5.00.

Please note, no cables or controllers with either.

To give something back to this thread (by head for now) I can offer several old CPU's (working fine) for anybody that wants them:

    2x PII 350MHz
    2x PII 400MHz
    1x PIII 500MHz

I'll add some more stuff later.

Port187 - the PS2 unit is yours - send my your full address and I shall send it once I get shipping to Holland ;-)

S1xty - I think I might have another lying around, let me check. Bit of a first come, first served and the PMs were what I had to go by.

I have yet to get this thing weighed, but I'm guessing 4-8kg. To N.America, the costs for an 8kg package look to be $110/$55 for EMS/surface shipping; to Europe: $130/$65. There have been 3 takers already; just waiting for their replies.

Karsten: what I put on my page is all the detailed info that I have on the Graphics Box.

Shame it's already taken... If nobody takes the thing, I would love to. It would be nice to dump the BIOS, if anything.

    Nice box :)

GONE I have this to give away fully boxed:

It's hard drive cooler (yeah seriously) but it has fan and temperature controllers. Used it for a couple of months, it's fully boxed in great condition, comes with all the wires and instructions.

Shipping is £5 for UK and probably £10 for the rest of the world.

Chuck Norris owns the greatest Poker Face of all-time. It helped him win the 1983 World Series of Poker despite him holding just a Joker, a Get out of Jail Free Monopoly card, a 2 of clubs, 7 of spades and a green #4 card from the game Uno.

I got a spare Sega Genesis which is just using up space and collecting dust up for grabs. It's missing the expansion port cover and one of the rubber feet but other than that it's in good condition and fully working. GONE to s1xty.

Shipping (no insurance) is as follows.
    Germany: 4 EUR
    Europe: 9 EUR
    World: 13 EUR

This needs to go too. It powers up normaly but won't read any cds (I believe the laser's shot) and the cd lid won't open by itself anymore. Maybe someone wants to gut it for spare parts or sumthin... GONE to s1xty.
