    no n64 game used special chips to enhance the console's performance.

    No, not at all! They used JPEG compression for storing the images in the ROM, and the microcode ("codec") you see there loads it on behalf of the RSP!

    Yep. The microcode is even referred to in my dev kit version as in beta stage.

    I've been packing and selling stuff, the giant box of n64 /dd stuff is within sight. I also have that VPN router , so I might be setting up that data for you guys to sort.

    So is there a way around the password for the PsyQ software? If I push escape it closes the entire installation
