Yes, they are released after you play X amount of hours and learn how to use proper punctuation and grammar.but I suck at it I figure I paid $80 for this game in 2004 I might you know actually try playing it.

How far are you getting, and are you hitting the NORM each level? It is an extremely punishing game.Seems easier than I remember....
Indeed. If you're playing for score Border Down is one of the most brutal shooters in existence.Originally Posted by GaijinPunch

I think I reached it on the Yellow border. I can't even scratch Remix mode.
I would think after clearing G-Darius I'd do better in border down which turns out to not be the case at all.
I could never get into it, too frustrating for me. But respect to anyone that can beat this game...
uuh, does not compute.:confused:Originally Posted by GodofHardcore

I may give this a whirl later today. I am not that great at shmups and I know I used to be terrible at Border Down...I hope that after a few months with G-Darius, Shienryu, Shikigami no Shiro 1 and 2, Trigger Heart Exelica, and Chaos Field that I can actually play *decent* (decently_bad lol)
These might help:

Although Clover-YMN did a full run which I think is different than these, and it is full on ninja action.
Yeah I'll watch those I'll need the help
Ah, I love Border Down - I just suck at it.
The music is at the same time horrific and terrific. It's so bad it's good.
I might just play a couple hours tonight if I get out of work alive (the sun is preventing me from taking a nap in the teachers' lounge right now; the forum was the next best thing to keep my mind off the horde of students celebrating "Día de Muertos" downstairs.)
I like Remix mode's music more than Arcade mode's
I love Border Down's music. I actually use it whenever I'm playing a shooter on the 360.
