In any case with a burned copy you won't be able to go online, which will be half the fun!
Where at any point did he say he was going to download and burn the game?

Thats the real shitter, I refuse to pay NTL (my ISP) an extra £7 a month just to play my XBOX/PS2 online... not that I could use my XBOX online... uh... I don't have a long enough network cable... *ahem*

Too true. I'm not going to download it at all. I feel that if you're going to buy an XBOX then it's only worth getting one if it's chipped. All those emulators for it would be ideal for playing on the big screen.

Too true. I do apologise, Yakumo, for howsoever remotely charging thee of piracy!

The onyl thing that worries me about the home conversion is the totally no-name, western third party doing the home conversion. These things have ended horribly in the past.

A British company in Leeds are doing the conversion for XBOX and from what has been seen so far it's looking good. Nintendoman even went as far as saying that it's better than the arcade version :prayer:

Yeah I swear on my collection that I have played the game and that it is superb......no other word for it,it really is so so good. The conversion is better than the conversion Am2 done themselves with Ferrari F355 and that was pretty special. This game just has so so much more than the usual arcade conversion with so many extra's bolted on.It's like a game in it's own right with the arcade options as a bonus.Trust me this is the best arcade racing conversion ever, nothing else can touch it.Don't believe me???Wait and be amazed!!!!!!Remember to give me a shout when you get back to japan yakumo so I can buy an xbox off you mate.

How is he going to ship it to you? The sheer weight alone will sink any cargo ship known to man, and airline companies don't dare to attempt such a feat! ;-)

Urm... if its modded, whats the point of buying a Japanese one and paying 2x the price of the console in shipping? Modding it removes all the regional problems, and unless you want a version not available outside of Japan, they all look the same.

No, they are not easy to find in Japan. Japan is one of those countries where if you offer someone a CDR of a game they will refuse to accept it. You can buy mod chips in here today gone tomorrow type shops in the bigger cities but you'd be better off buying them on-line. One shop where I live was asking 45'000 yen for a Treamcast !! That's about 250 pounds. Way too much I'd say. Mod chips are the same. Way over priced.
