Help needed with Neogeo pocket color

I have a neogeo pocket here that i practicly got for free, the only problem is the screen isnt 100%, when the neogeo logo appears on the dark background i can see horizaontal lines and the dark color tends to blurr.

When playing games however it is even worse, the image is prety blurred and i can see a lot of horizontal lines especialy with pac-man.

I already openend it up but didn't see any damage.
Is there anything i can do to adjust the screen or is a simple case of a semi-dying screen.

Sounds like a dead LCD to me. A friend's NGPC did a similar thing, he never got it to work. Check that the cable connections are all secure, it could also be a dodgy connection.

Replacement cover lenses are available, but LCD screens aren't, that I could find.

It's the same thing with metal slug 2nd mission and sonic pocket adventure.

Open up the battery cover and look at the bottom part of it, there should be a hole, inside that hole is a little thing to ajust the LCD with a tiny screw driver., darker/brighter...try that out.
