    ST-V Pause feature.

first: I don't know if this would be useful with dev stuff or not, so if it's in the wrong section, sorry.
    --------------------------

Well, prior to selling all of my st-v stuff off, I did some pause feature work. Not every game has the option, so I was wondering if there were any collectors here that could help build my list up.

    general info found so far:

    Can Pause:

    -Terra Diver
    -Radiant Silvergun
-Final Arch (needs constant connection to stay paused)

    Can't Pause:

    -Puyo Puyo Sun
    -Purikura Daisakusen
    -Groove on Fight
    -Funky Headed Boxers
    -VIrtua Fighter Kids

-The pause feature can by used with the "d/54" pin on your jamma harness (2nd player's 5th button pin).

    -
With the games that use a push button, it's one push to pause, one push to unpause.

-With Final Arch, you need a constant contact, which means momentary push buttons won't work. You either need to hold the button down or use an on/off toggle switch.

-This will only work with st-v games that have the pause feature in their test menu, which you must switch to ON.

    Tricks with Terra Diver:

-If you hit button 1 while the game is paused, it skips you to the next level of the game.

-If you hit button 2 while the game is paused, it acts as a reset button and takes you back to the title screen. Not resetting the whole stv board to bootup, but resetting just the game.

Anyways, there's my list of info so far. I figured maybe some folks here would either have other games they could test to further the game list, or would at least find it a little interesting.

    thanks!

I think Die Hard Arcade can do it as well, but I've not had my ST-V hooked up for ages so I'm not sure...

Isn't there a DIP switch that pauses too? I thought that one worked on a more general level, games didn't have to support it...
