Rihanna - shut up and drive

A car nerd here who can tell me what the orange car in the video is ?
I presume, as the video was done in the Czech Republic (Licence plate of the Ferrari) I guess it could be a heavily tuned Skoda Rapid Coupe ?

    Infernal - 10 miles

WU-Tronix by JOOLSMF It`s an electronica mix of C.R.E.A.M. By the wu-tang, sounds like it was produced using a Sega Master System soundboard in mind(apart from the vocals of course)

    check it out!

Death From Above 1979 - Black History Month
Between the Buried and Me - self-titled album (this is one of my favorites)
A-ha - Hunting High and Low
Death - everything (this band was so amazing)
Joy Division - everything (see "Death")

I've just realized I listen to a lot of music.

Pat Metheny Group “Across the sky” (1997) Warner (Jazz)
This particular track was also remixed by Goldie and sounded amazing. Jazz imo is timeless and definitely worthy of a bit of remixing and re-working. PMG are incredible with or without that tinkering however.

Sinner DC “Alice” or “Everything is sand” (2005) Ai Records (Rock / Alternative)
Switzerland isn’t renowned for its musical exports, but this is one group that really need to be heard. Somehow Sinner DC managed to enchant most of the music industry, but the industry is a fickle thing and they remain an underground phenomenon.

Ride “Vapour Trail” (2001) Ignition (Britpop / Indie) A great track from a sadly defunkt band. They were pretty unusual and rarely made a big splash, but I liked ‘em from the off. There has been a petition online for a while now to encourage them to reform. http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/reformride/

Llorca “Indigo Blues (Minus 8 remix)” (2001) F communications (French House). The French are rarely beaten when it comes to smooth vibes & cool house tracks. What began as a rather low key track was pumped up and made very much an unstoppable dance track. Don’t be fooled by the original laid back version found on YouTube, the remix is FAR jumpier!

Overhead “The sky lit up” (2002) Naïve (Pop / Rock). Another French band, but this time they never really appear to have gone anywhere, sadly! Singing in English (a necessary evil in the export business) they could have done far better, but as far as I can tell they disappeared off radar. This is a very accomplished track on a beautiful album (Silent Witness) and would be great used in a film. Rather reminiscent of The Blue Nile, although other tracks appear to be influenced by The Smiths & R.E.M. Overhead however come out on top as original rather than purely nodding towards others.

There are tracks I hear and love every single day, but I decided it might be nice to look at older stuff from bands that really deserved a little more attention than simply pointing towards material that is currently or already well known. Hope some of you like some of it (if you can find any of it). My collection of music is massive and very diverse, this represents a tiny sample.

I've been listening to more New Order. I like "Ceremony," but I guess it came as no surprise when I found out it was originally written with Joy Division.

Circa Survive's "On Letting Go" and Hum's "You'd Prefer An Astronaut" have also been on my recent rotation.

You can ask for any old woman
You can ask for an army of ants
You can ask for a pillar of poison
You can ask for sheep and shavers
