Every E3 this topic is always a gaming fourm stape, so I figured I'd start one off.

My predictions & Hopes

-New Mario Kart Wii will be online
-Wii Zapper will make a appears
-Nights Wii will have some showing
-Banjo 3 appearance
- New Wii ____ games will be shown (Wii Health, Wii Music, etc)
- External Wii Harddrive
- No More Heros is Playable
-Mario Galaxy will have co-op

-Inafune's Wii Project Unvieled
-Healthy Wii Titles will make a appearance
- Dead Phoenix will be reannounced as Kid Icarus :p
-Animal Crossing Wii news
-Pikmin 3 will be confirmed
-New Conker Game news
-DNF will be finally shown

I'm pretty sure MK for the Wii will be online (Otherwise, it would be sort of a downgrade from the DS version). Banjo and NiGHTS seem likely, and I am sure that No More Heroes will be presented in some form (Stage demo, maybe?). Conker I am not too sure about, because it bombed on both the N64 and Xbox. I've also said the same thing about DNF for the last 3 years..yet nothing.

Anywho:

-New MGS game for the PSP (prequel/sequel to portable ops?)
-RE5 info with playable RE:UC
-New Zelda for the Wii
-New brand of mario games for both the Wii and DS (Betting golf will be among them)
-New whored out EA games (The maddens, the Need for Speeds, the Burnouts, the Battlefields, the Sims spinoffs, etc)
-Halo 3 single player further revealed with playable single player demo
-A shitload of Final Fantasy games and spinoffs, as well as once again not announcing a FF7 remake (Seriously...It would be far better then a FFXIII spinoff).

that's a pretty optimistic list there son

I think it might be a bit early for a mariokart title. Considering DD wasnt well received, they have a lot to re-think.

A new kid icarus game would indeed make me happy - whether or not the mature-themed Dead Phoenix will work for the franchise is somewhat in doubt however. Judging from Super Smash Bros. Brawl's Pit, Kid Icarus will still appeal to the younger and Teenage audience, unlike Dead Phoenix.

Banjo is the next big thing for the 360, and it's certainly a title that i m looking forward to. Conker doesn't stand much chance of a title any time soon. Again, i hope i m wrong, because i loved both the original and the remake.

External Wii-HDD? Unlikely, considering nintendo's policies and their bad experience with add-ons. Besides, it would look ugly :p On the other hand, a USB-flash drive to plug behind ur wii's butt.. well that's much easier, and it can go pretty high in GB capacity and speed (only restricted by the USB 2.0 max speed)

I think we'll see at last some serious PS3 material.

Yes it is quite optimistic, but only a few there are really crazy wishy washy...

At least I didn't go insane and say.... oops

STAR TROPICS 3D !! just kidding..

But, of course you can basically take Kid Icarus off the list. Though I wouldn't be suprised if his appearance in Brawl. means that sometime down the line he gets his own game. Still I do hope that considering its been quite sometime since dead Phoniex, perhaps some figure at the event will comment on what became of it.

out of curiosity, is there any site that will be broadcasting the press confrences live via the 'net for free?....I think some one did it last year (as i recall watching them with a few members here over msn live)

also, what time are the confrences?......

heh, I'm hoping Animal Crossing Wii is announced with online support in which each character in a town is an actual player.....now that would be sweet!!......

This is E3. This wont happen at all. If it were it would be durring TGS in japan. Actualy I think square already anounced all the new games it will this year thanks to their 20th anniversary party.

As of tomorrow it should feature live feeds, especially of the Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo conferences. At least, that was the case last year.

http://www.gamevideos.com/ is usually worth checking regularly at E3 time.

Both Sony and MS will be making content available via download like MS did last year. I was at E3 last year so i couldn't tell you how decent the coverage was.

No idea for the new consoles, other than whats been shown:

My prediction for Spore (new PC game by Will Wright)

He will make a 15-20 minute demonstration that only focuses on Space mode (again), and will not show anything new apart from one tiny thing. Also, he will announce that the game will come bundled with Duke Nukem Forever, if you catch my drift.

Here are my preditions:

Prior to the E3 SEGA will say theres gonna be a BIG announcement during to show, so fans everywhere will start touching themselves thinking in a new console, but they'll cut their wrists when SEGA announces that the big thing was in fact another sonic game with even more stupid characters.

Nintendo will show a new Zelda game to be released in 2012. More brain age games to the DS and a external propiertary HDD so they can take more of your money with the VC.

The new PSP with 8GB of NAND will be unveiled to thousands of rabid pirates. The PS3 price cut everyone is already talking about will be oficially oficial, and the new SIXAXIS with rumble (the one with the red light) will be put on sale, along with bins to trow the old piece-o-shit ones. Killzone2 will be show to everybody in the E3, and to noone's surprise it will NOT be nearly as awesome as the demo shown in E305.

In MS's stand we will be able to see a new X360 that can last a whooping 2 months without burning a hole in the ground. They will also show a Zune/console hybrid that could in the future...........run Tetris!.

Honestly the E3 isnt what it used to be anymore...

Wow, time to top up on the optimism....

I've heard that Killzone 2 is shaping up nicely, and I hope it turns out as good as we want it to be (if only to avoid the hundreds of "see I told you it wouldn't look as good" comments that will flood this and every forum for the next two weeks).

PSP2, PS Home and the PS Eye (all integrated) are what I'm hoping to hear about.
