Just did some digging on other Sonic sites including Sentient, seems as if people have been leaking this info all over the place long before the release.
How stupid can some people be?
HXC has definately declared that it has been released to donators, which is in complete breach of the rules.
Apparently the july 4th release date appeared on a wiki site a few times but kept dissapearing (obviously at request).

It was on The Pirate Bay but it doesn't seem to be on their tracker anymore. No seed atm.
According to that site the torrent there was added on April of 2006, probably a fake.
That was the video I seeded, not the game.
No need to yel at anyone, it's just me asking people
to hold off a bit.
He doesn't have access to here, and he did donate, so
he got the files and all it said was "hold off" not "do not discuss".
I'm just wondering how he got all the other info...
