    Video Game Midi's / Polyphonics

Having got my N-Gage QD I am in need of making myself comfortable with some half assed ringtones. Anyone know of any sites with dedicated gaming ringtones or midis? I'm not really into paying for them I would much rather copy them accross via BlueTooth :smt023

Forget about sites. Just get yourself PsmPlay 5.0 This utility can convert midi to various different formats. Such as the following.

    Feelsound 32 and 12 chords
    Imelody - many different formats
    AU-PMD - 16 and 3 chords
SMAF - 40 Chords (My borther uses this on his new Samsung phone)
SMAF - 16 and 4 chords for J-Sky - I use this.(Now known as Vodafone) (Japan but may work with Japanese branded western vodafones)
    SMAF - 16 and 4 chords for AU's EZ-Web Phones (Japan)

One the midi is converted get yourself Yamaha's Midi radio Player. The reason why you need this is because the PsmPlay utility doesn't play back the phone music using the same sound that a phone would. The Yamaha player will play the converted file identical to what your phone would. Here are a few songs that I made in SMAF format. You must change the file extention to .mmf and play them back on the Yamaha Midi Radio Player or your phone if it can handle SMAF format.

Right click the links and "save as" to your hard drive.

    Lunar Eterna Blue - Main Theme 3:21 - 40 Chords http://img26.exs.cx/img26/5209/Lunar...-MainTheme.jpg

    Akumo Draclua - Bloody Tears 1:10 - 40 Chords http://img64.exs.cx/img64/9411/Akumo...oodyTears1.jpg

    Axelay - Spider Boss 1:14 - 16 Chords http://img64.exs.cx/img64/9270/Axelay-Stage1Boss.jpg

    Chrono Trigger - Unknown Green 2:26 - 16 Chords http://img64.exs.cx/img64/8025/ChronoTrigger.jpg

    Final Fantasy 5 - Battle 1:33 - 16 Chords http://img64.exs.cx/img64/8859/FinalFantasy5-Battle.jpg

    Sol Feace - Stage 2 2:39 - 40 Chords http://img64.exs.cx/img64/7484/SolFeace-Stage2.jpg

    Ganbare Goemon (Mystical Ninja) - 1st Act - 40 Chords http://img64.exs.cx/img64/1121/GanbareGoemon-1stAct.jpg

You can get loads of game midis from http://www.vgmusic.com/ All the ones above though are converted from Japanese midis that I found on the net.

My N-Gage QD is capable of playing raw .mid , so it doesn't need converting to .mmf etc :smt033

Cheers for the info though fellas :smt023

I had a look on vgmusic.com - they have a lot of variety and many tunes I want but none of them sound quite right if you know what I mean :smt022

The tunes I am mostly interested in are:

    Final Fantasy VII - Battle
    Goldenaxe - Wilderness
Metal Gear Solid - Main Theme
The Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past - Light Overworld
The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time - Lost Woods Theme

Anyone have them in an amazingly convincing true-to-the-original midi? :smt040

i am too lazy to search for them now ;) but try www.vgmusic.com or if you are able to type some japanese / browse japanese sites try www.dtm.ac , a search engine for millions of Midi Webpages with much more and rarer midis than on vgmusic.
