well... i have newsgroups access with my isp "bellsouth" but their service has been total crap since like a week ago, so i would like to know if anyone knows of any free usenet or if anyone knows where i can find hacked accounts :smt033

Free servers are text only or if binaries are avaible they are mostly 99% incomplete beside the ISP ones which seem to die out in the US and were never avaible in Germany (only text based with the biggest German provider).

Don't go for the cheapest they mostly have crappy retention rates and a low completion.

I mainly used german providers in the past, the only US based provider I've used yet was newscene.com

If you don't want to pay you have to look for something else than usenet to get your stuff.

Usually the one you get with your provider (if you even get one) will suck. I get one with Comcast, but it only has 24 hour (if that) retention.
