Fresh from IGN's recent review, the word "constraction" instead of construction? I mean they even give you a spelling test when you apply for a game testing position, and no one noticed spelling mistakes such as this one? O_o

They no doubt know about it but it will be listed under non-critical changes, which means it will be polished off at a later date when a list of spelling mistakes etc are compiled.

The only thing I can think of that could be considered remotely embarrassing is that my 10yr old nephew is capable of beating me! He is a damned good gamer with lightening fast reflexes. Aging sucks! :-(

I've spotted a few spelling mistakes and glitches in games, but hey, I didn't make 'em so I ain't embarrassed, just not surprised.

my personal embaressing moment is the following:

I was playing Super Smash Bros with a friend, and we were pretty loud about it, using all kinds of nasty words etc.

Next, me and him went next door for lunch (Since my parents were away) and after lunch, my neighbours mother asked me "you guys were having a threesome next door weren't u?"

I prompty replied, "no, no girls at home, just me and him playing"

"but no, i heard screams and moans" she replied, and added " I know you re a devil, i ve seen you with countless girls"

Well at that point we felt pretty damn bad about ourselves sounding like girls when losing

Most embarassing gaming moments???

I guess playing Tiger Woods golf thingy on PS3 this week in a store. Sixaxis too light almost flew in the air when I grabbed it (what a change from 360 controller) and then PS3 went tits up when I tried to access the XMB interface...oh and the drive took about 1 min to swallow the disc back when I tried to reset the machine after it crashed :thumbsup:

Needless to say that my first experience with PS3 was not really positive, with Motorstorm it might have been better though...

Actually I feel more embarassed for Sony than me...

Well my most embarassing game moment was when at friends playing one of the resident evil games on ps1 (Can't remember which one) and at the time i was quite young

and we had been playing for about an hour and i was walking through a kinda narrow corridor of the Stars building and i was at the window side and thats when Hands broke through the window and me and my friend were like Holly Shit and i threw down the controller in shock

I had never had seen that bit before so its was like a big shock more than anything

Heh. I have a good one. I was playing Perfect Dark. I was sitting cross-legged on the floor for a good hour. Well my big toe decides to cramp and move to the left horizontally 2 inches.

I was screaming like a little girl. And was made fun of by my sister ever since.

I once lost a race in Daytona USA (8 Cabinet Edition). When I looked across at the victor, it turned out to be some little kid (I estimate 8 years old). Boy, was I red faced!

Yes but Circus is a term used in motorsport to mean the teams and people within the sport and Nichibutsu did make a number of games with the name F1 Circus. It's probably one of those Donkey Kong > Monkey Kong rumours that everyone assumes is true unless someone says otherwise.

Lasting about 30 seconds in a multiplayer game of Puyo Puyo Tsu in a Japanese arcade last week. It was funny because I had beaten the friend of the person who thrashed me in a close game. The guy was just bring the puyos down quickly and made a 10 chain combo before I could set a combo up... >_<

Not that Embaressing but funny non the less. Many a year ago at a friends birthday party we started playing the then latest football game on the Megadrive (not got a clue what it was :-/). So I picked up the controller not having the faintest idea what character was or what I was doing just mashing random buttons. The guy I was playing was like "Geez you're good at this!" and I was winning, then when I did figure out what was going on I got thrashed :P .
