Multiregion PS2?

I had a PAR, and lost the freakin' disc when I moved. I still have the little Memory Card thing, but no disc. Is there any free way to have a multiregion PS2? I dont' want to buy another cheat device... I only bought this one to play R1 discs.

If you had an early Japanese ps2, you could make it multiregion dvd with a certain memory card setup. (that was when the ps2 bios setup was on the memcard)

I think it was the DVD Driver 1.0... I don't have that. The PS2 launch was so awful I laughed at people that paid 40,000 for that hunk of shit. I bought it about almost 2 years later when the good games started coming out... I'm kinda screwed though now w/o that damn disc. :(

You can use a PAR to play aal region games ? i was always told that that didn't work.
I have a 2 disc set with one of those slidecard that was supposed to work but no dice so i sold the thing off aggain.

I really want to be able to play import without modchipping it of using slide cards/fliptop mods can a PAR do this ?

SilverBolt get a HDLoader if you have a HD and a network adapter.But you have to be fast, I ain't able to sell them anymore because of legal problems with Sony.

I think it was a PAR.... the thing that goes in the mem card slot says V2 AR2

no you can't GaijinPunch means region free DVD possibilitys...
