    my badass livingroom

you'd never guess it from this, but i _do_ have a girlfriend, and we both live here, and she's actually into this!

800x600 photos dont do it justice, so i made a quicktimeVR (plain ol quicktime player required) :smt027

OMG. that is soo cool. At first I thought it was a movie and downloaded it multiple times because on quicktime it grayed out the "Play" button. Then I noticed that the + and - sign figured it all out.

How do you do those things anyway?

on most newer cameras i think (i have a ~1yr old canon powershot s200), there is now a 'photo stitch mode' or 'panoramic mode' that'll help you line up the edges of successive pictures, and then once you've copied them onto your computer, there is a program called PhotoStitch that helps you snap all the pictures together, and save them as QTVR.. i didn't get around to properly reading the camera's manual until just recently, so i didn't even know i could do this stuff with it, quite the pleasant surprise.. :smt023

Nice I was thinking of doing something like that.

Years ago I did presentational quicktime VR movies (well the photography anyways) for Swansea College, this was in about 1999. They had hot linking to go to another section of the college, you could almost visit room by room, circling a full 360 degrees. I thought it was amazing, especially seeing as this was almost 5 years ago, unfortunately over the 56k lines it took ages to browse and so was really only much good within the college intranet.

It kicked ass, after seeing yours i`m tempted to give it another go.

After I and all other members of the team left, they changed the site completly :( Maybe I have a backup on CDR. Grrrr all my photography and web work for that bastard place (except one shot of the college with a lovely bit of lens flare :) ) is gone.

It's not a movie but a quicktime propriatary thing that lets you scroll a photo like 270 degrees or something like that.

    Coolness.

Lots of clones, I'm just getting into clone collecting.

I think we have the same clear paintball gun, nice Akira manga too :-D

You can totally miss the Vectrex if you don't look around, lol.

I am digicam shopping right now, I HAVE to get one that can do this!
