CRTs don't necessarily just go bad. Besides, those TVs are connected to the NES via RGB, thats the only way you'll get a RGB NES without swapping the PPU from a Sharp FC/NES TV or PlayChoice/VS System PCB.
Having one, I would say the screen is excellent.
If I didn't already have an a$$load of televisions, this would so be mine.
