as i said, there are games where a single frame of lag can make a difference, if there is more than 0 frames of delay, thats too much for me. :)Originally Posted by Princess-Isabela
Why would there be lag in SDTV mode?

because it still has to scale the image.Originally Posted by Taucias
No, It doesn't - A CRT can display at any of a number of resolutions - Its simply a case of adjusting the electron gun to fire at fewer/more positions, or having it fire the same coloured pixel multiple times (e.g. native res of 1600x1200, for 800x600 each pixel will be fired 4 times to the display). Thats why theres the clunky sound and the screen blanks when resolution is changed
That's what I thought. I have never experienced lag in any games in either SDTV or HDTV mode on a CRT. It is an upscaling time delay issue on some LCD and Plasma screens due to the process the chips in the TV have to implement to rescale the image to fit the screen resolution, but that is not true of CRTs.
This site: http://hdtvlag.googlepages.com/ourtest is rather interesting.
Apparently, if you run a 4:3 in stretched 16:9 mode on a CRT there will be some lag however.

all the games as of now.
about 20 or so have been added, and also almost all of my NES games now have dust covers.
quite a bit added, and the room has been completly reorganized.
here's a high quality picture, but i've added quite a bit of games and made it more organized
took this morning with my camera phone, i'm adding more tommorow as I venture to a retro/import shop in Seattle I am particularly fond of. ^_^
Are you going to Pink Godzilla? Think you could pick up some DC games for me?
:P
Anyway, great collection. I really dig the custom arcade stick.

Very cool, I need a shelf like that.
On the TV thing, you could do what I used to do until my TV died, I got a HDTV for 350, and kept the old TV. Since the LCD is small you could find somewhere for it and leave that SD where it is. But since you don't have a 360 or anything your prolly fine for now.
YES! Pink Godzilla is awesome!! :love:Originally Posted by Atenhouse
I dunno if you've caught on yet from how graciano1337 and I talk on the forums but we're actually close friends and go to pink godzilla together a lot. Or during the school year I meet up with him there. And yeah, I'm going to pink godzilla...and Graciano1337 might be coming with. Heh.Originally Posted by PhreQuencYViii

Sorry modern age, I don't feel like paying for something I can't hold in my hands...
