That incident with the kid killing his friend while playing manhunt has gotten the game banned in Dixon and Curry.

It's a sad day for the world of games. Why don't we ban every hard core action movie. I'd say they would provoke people to kill more than a game. Truly sad :smt009

A spokesperson for the British Board of Film Classification said the game had been given an 18 certificate.

It was also the board's opinion that there were no issues of harm attached to the game and there was no evidence directly linking the playing of games with violent behaviour.

So like always, it's that fault of the mother and farther for letting their son play such games. It's easy to blame others when something like this happens. But if they look at the bottom line they'll see that it's themselves to blame. Their son shouldn't have had that game. Don't get me wrong, what happened was a terrible thing but it can't be blamed on the games industry.
