Looking for advice on finding old Japanese gaming magazines

Hey, first time posting on these new forums, I used to lurk a lot on the old EZboard.

Recently I bought a couple vintage (mid 90's) gaming mags off Yahoo JP as a "blind buy" since they were cheap. I figured I might find some great beta screenshots or whatnot. I've only received one of them thus far, and it didn't have anything worth mentioning. Still, it did spark my interesting in hunting down more older mags.

My question is, how rare are older Japanese gaming mags and is there a good source (online/auction/etc.) to purchase them? My main interest would be mid 90s' mags...Famitsus and anything else with Super Famicom coverage (I know there was one dedicated SFC mag, maybe several) Specifically, I'm looking for mags from about 9/94 thru about 4/95

If I could find a source, I might consider buying a bulk lot if they were cheap (taking into account that shipping a box of mags to the U.S. might be an arm and a leg)

Anyone else here that's hunted for mags? Any advice? thanks =)

anyone remember LOGIN? Or how about ASCII? :)
there's another one - very thick and has page after pages of binary codes for programs that you can typed in... once I did for FM-NEW7 I had and took me entire Sunday to type them in... any idea the title of the magazine?

Check out eBay and maybe you'll find a bunch of good mags one day. Most saturn mags were kinda boring (over 3/4 full with guides that nobody needs).

Sega Saturn Magazine was fantastic once it became a weekly event. The first year or two of it it wasn't so hot.

I've got a stack of them I'm selling cheap, but shipping across the pond gets expensive. Your best bet is an auction site, but I don't think they show up so often.
