Help me find this really obscure Famicom(?) game.

I'm sorry if this is against any rules or conduct on the board, and I know how annoying it is to have some noob clutter the boards, but I'm in a desperate situation in having to indentify this game which is somehow lost in my memory.

It's a japanese game about a boy (robot) who wears a blue(??) helmet, a white wifebeater(I could be wrong) and gloves and fights using a boomerang against robots and whatnot in a sprawling 8 bit megacity. There's an overworld map where I think you can select the levels you'd like to play in.
You pick up power ups along the way which determines how far and strong the boomerangs fly.

Now I've tried every combination in doing a search of the game, and I know for a fact it's NOTRocman X from Sachen.
The game I'm talking is actually VERY playable, and features some pretty impressive art at the time.


So any game gurus with any idea of what it's called and where I can get it please let me know. It's like a piece of corn stuck in the back of my skull and I can't get it out.

PS: I'll try and make it up to any of you guys somehow. I don't really have anything to give other than my art. So if you know the answer, send me a picture of yourself and I'll try and draw a cool picture of you or something.

The game's name is Power Blazer.

There was a game called Power Blade that used boomerangs, but the main character didn't look like Megaman, it was of a more "realistic" look.

No problem. Fun fact: Power Blazer got a makeover and became Power Blade on the NES. But Sunder asked about a Famicom game, not NES, so that's why I said Power Blazer. I was actually looking for this game for a long time, too. Back in 1990 Nintendo Power showed a screenshot from the cinema of Power Blazer, and the caption said "Mega Man-style action from a new game called Power Mission." I waited a long time for that game to come out, but it never did. Finally, when NES emulation came around I saw a screenshot from that Famicom game, and knew its proper title. It's a fun game, pretty cute, but not as good as Mega Man.

Fun fact 2: the game Captain Saver on the Famicom became Power Blade II on the NES.
