    My Small Collection

    - UPDATE -

I got a new desk and did some rearranging, so I decided to take an entirely new batch of pictures:

I have a shitton of C++ books, I know... I "inherited" some of them

My NES and PAL SNES are in horrible shape, I know. I'm actually thinking about painting them.

That's it. Not much to see here, move along, move along :P

How the heck do you keep those black systems so clean lol. Mine collect dust and the dust seeps into cracks that I cant reach :P Nice, clean collection though :)

Yeah, the XBOX is the hardest thing to keep clean, because of all those little grooves in the sides. But still, I take that thing with me to school, so it's expected to have a little bit of a beating :P

As for the other systems, they have been boxed up tight for quite some time, which I'm guessing is how they have remained clean for so long. Usually though, I clean all my consoles on a monthly basis.

Thanks though, my A'cans (I have two ;-) ) are probably my favorite part of my collection, and I actually enjoy some of the games I have for it :icon_bigg

No need to feel like a noob. That's the obscure Funtech Super A'Can. ;)

Wow - I've heard super a'can mentioned countless times but thought it was just an obscure nes or snes clone. I really didn't know anything about it.
Now that I've just done some googling - I'm actually quite impressed by the graphics. It has some nice snesy looking games.
I'll keep my eyes open for one now.

Is there a list of games on a thread somewhere?

    Cheers,
    Mqark.

Like Mark said, that's a Super A'can. Now that I'm home for spring break, I'll try to get more pictures of all my A'can stuff and post them here.

Thanks, actually I put most of my clothes in drawers. I just hang my T-shirts in my closet so they don't wrinkle. The rest of the space was cleared for the collection ;-)

Ok, so just as I promised I've taken pictures of my A'can stuff.

    Boxed/Complete set

unboxed set, that's a Genesis 1 power supply and a standard RCA cable

    The Son of Evil

    Sonic Flying Dragon

    Gambling Lord

    Magic-Stick Billiards

Well, that's it. I hope to expand my A'can collection, but the stuff is hard to find and not very cheap, and usually when I do spot stuff I'm super low on cash :(

I don't know if you want to take the time, but would it be possbile to get a closeup look of the back to The Son of Evil? I've wanted to see how that game looks forever but no one has ever shown anything past the title, let alone the back of the box. Nice to see you had the idea at least

    Certainly, here you go:

Unfortunately the box only has 3 tiny screen shots at the very bottom of it. Here's a closeup of those:

Photobucket only allows a max resolution of 800x600. If you want a higher resolution version of the closeup picture (1280x960), just send me a PM with your email address and I'll send you a copy.

AWS thinks its called the "Super Color" because it says Super color around there somewhere.

Its actually on one of the articles here, if I recall correctly.

I was interested in knowing what that was, too.

Ah, found the thread. Dang its old.

Wow, interesting stuff! Thanks for the link! :)

Funny that the Super Color is all rounded and curvy, while the Super A'Can itself was very blocky and rectangular... If it wasn't for that picture, I would have thought they were made by two seperate companies.
