Apperantly SNK and Sony have agreed to make available some classic Neo Geo titles through their download service, although its not sure which titles and when. Microsoft hasn't responded back to them. I hope they will appear on XBLA at some point though, wouldnt mind playing some metal slug and last blade 2 on the x360 :)

At least we get the complete metal slug set on Wii. King of Fighters is what's left really, but I was never a big fan. Samurai showdown I d think about too.

Metal Slug is already on XBLA as I recall. I wanna see KoF 98', 99', and Garou. But then again, after seeing how Street Fighter and UMK3 turned out, maybe I don't. Digital Eclipse sucks ass. I wouldn't be surprised also if they are illegally using the MAME source code.

I'm in love with this game, but my MVS doesnt have online play and pc-emulators usually lag like hell while using kaillera to play online.
They were anounced at tokyo games show, but have not been confirmed for the U.S. So far it's been metal slug and garou special anounced for live, but nothing else yet.
I knew I had heard something about Metal Slug and live. Garou Special, like Fatal Fury Special? Cause I want Garou Mark of the Wolves. :O

How's that? Metal Slug Anthology is coming to PSP, Wii, and PS2. XBLA is getting a single Metal Slug title.
I believe that microsoft has a bullshit 50mb cap at XBLA games. Garou MOTW is well over double that (closer to 150mb I think) :(
Metal slug however is like... 10mb or something.

Yeah, megabits not bytes. It's around 77 megabytes, which is still over the XBLA size limit.

I think from what that statement says snk would like to add their stuff to live on their terms, plus im guessing they dont want to hassal with compressing, which all titles that have hit the 50mb mark have had to do.
You also realize that they have to make space to not only add extras, but also have it hd ready so it looks decent on an hd tv, which is where alot of memory is taken up.
