    Need some prices

    Hello guys,

I want to buy stuff in Japan next year and I already saved a lot of money for it but I do not know how much my wanted items REALLY cost in Japan.

Of course, everything ought to be in mint or at least good used condition :)

    PC-Engine:

    Soldier Blade
    Gunhed
    Star Parodier
    Gate of Thunder
    Winds of Thunder
    Spriggan Mark2
    Kaze Kiri
    PC Denjin
    Nexzr

    Saturn:
Sega Rally (mine is without spine, thats why -.-)
Tokimeki Memorial Pazuru Dama (no spine, thats why again)
    Tryrush Deppy
    Metal Slug RAM-Box
    Densha-de GO! EX (+controller)
    Shinrei Jusatsushi Taroumaru

    Dreamcast:
    SEGAGAGA DDirect Limited Edition
De La Jet Set Radio Limited Edition
    Advanced Daisenryaku LE
    Border Down LE
    Densha-de GO! 2 (+controller)

    PS2:
    dodonpachi Daioujou
    Densha de GO! Shinkansen (+controller)
Densha de GO! Ryo Jou-hen (+controller)
    Densha de GO! Final
    Densha de GO! 3 (+controller)
    Sky Gunner

    Consoles:
Dreamcast (orange box with SEGA president)
    Mega Drive (asian version)
    Mega Drive (japanese version)
    Mega Drive 2
    Mega CD 2
    Super Famicom
    V-Saturn ver.1
    V-Saturn ver.2
    White Saturn (relief box)
    Grey Saturn (small box)

Thats a lot of stuff, I know that and I won't buy everything from that list. I would just like to know how much I have to save for my must-haves :)

And maybe anyone else wants to place a question about the "japanese worth" of a game in here.

    see ya,
    ave

Find the auctions, bookmark 'em, check 'em out when they're done. You're on your own w/ the PS2 games, and for the most part, consoles unless you do some browsing yourself.

    EDIT:

    SEGAGAGA DDirect Limited Edition
De La Jet Set Radio Limited Edition
There's a DLJSR LE on YJ right now. Other than that, you will be very hard-pressed to find it. It's rarely up for auction, and almost never had in shops. I've only seen in Akiba ever, and I bought them both. The Segagaga LE doesn't show up in Akiba that often, but isn't too hard to find on YJ.

    Thx so far :)

Though I'm able to search at yahoo on my own (with help from covers to find the right kanji) there were some interesting results.

Is it possible to find cheap crap like this in Akiba for the same bundle-price (for example 50 boxed sfc = 5000en):
    http://page10.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/m34018216
    http://page9.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/k34860306
    ?
I know its cheap trash but I know already that I wouldn't be able to resist. :D

PS: I already heard of the DLJSR-box to be very rare but I didn't thought it would be THIS rare. But anyway, I will also visit Kyoto and DenDen so there a few more chances to get one. :-)

No bundles. Most shops have a junk corner, where they'll sell games (often w/o manuals or cases) for 50 yen or so, but I've never seen a "group discount" on anything.

Akihabara will not bring you any good bundles. Try places out of Tokyo if you can. Manga Soko in Shimosone (100s of miles from Tokyo by the way) do may bundles with cases and instructions for 500 yen. Sets of 5 Mega Drive, SFC, Saturn, PSX, FC and recently PC Engine can be found very easily. There must be places like this around or just outside Tokyo.
