    SDK Availability

    Hello all,

I am new to the forum, and I have a question I hope you guys can help me with.

A couple of days ago I started looking around the internet to see what the availability is like on Dreamcast Dev-kits. I have noticed they don’t always come with the SDK cds. I was wondering what is the availability like for obtaining the Dreamcast SDKs and the WinCE SDKs?

    Thanks!

You don't need a dev kit for KOS right? It is one of those things that if I am able to get a dev kit, it would be nice to have the SDK along with it.

Yeah, you certainly won't need a Development kit for KOS. Just a DC-to-Serial cable, a retail DC, your PC, and some CD-Rs!

KOS is free, legal, and what homebrew Dreamcast developers go with, along with the Dreamcast Development Environment ISO r2. :)
