Has anyone ever bought a flash cart from tototek? The snes flash carts are infinitely cheaper than a real devkit but I've heard bad things about dealing with them when stuff never arrives.

I've bought several flash cards from them with few delivery problems. Perhaps it depends on what country they send stuff to. I had a problem with one of my flash cards going bad, so Tomy at Tototek said to send it back; I did, and it came back to me very fast, like new.
The only problem I can think of is that they're very slow sometimes to reply to e-mails.
they might be cheaper.. but my swc dx2 looks so much cooler

I bought a Megadrive one from them a couple of years ago without any problems.
I got one for my PC Engine, but haven't had the magic combination of an OS old enough to let me program flash cards directly via the parallel port (i.e. pre 2K) and not having a working parallel port... Damn I wish they did a USB one.
I did actually see a German guy selling 14 PCE flash cards on ebay that looked exactly like Hu cards and were programmed by USB through a box that you plug the cards into. I almost bid, but the prospect of paying nearly 90 quid put me off! I'd actually rather buy 5 or 6 real HuCards for that sort of cash.

On 1000 and heading to 10000....
Oh, BTW : Computational power is obvious today. Long-lasting gameplay not anymore.
