If anyone hasnt been there already, Galbadia Hotel has several *Official* Game OSTs up for downloading. Its not a peer to peer thing, either.

The only catch is you can only download track by track, and for mass downloading privelidges you need to get 1000 points via referral links. -_-

Anyways, I think its an awesome site. It has several OSTs you honestly cant find anywhere else.

They also have mangas and artbooks up. (You cant mass download these yet, though.)

I read the ringtones bit and one thing is a mystery to me. Most of the phones nowdays can play either mp3 or other kind of compressed sound [gsm compressed or uncompressed waves, amr's and so on]. So why actually pay for a ringtone, when you can make your own?

Pop your favorite soundtrack CD into your CD Rom, rip the wave, cut it down to size with GoldWave or whatever is is that you're familiar with, and there it is. A neat and free ringtone. Legal if you own the soundtrack I would guess.

I always make my own ringtones and when I choose one, I pretty much stick to it for years literally. This one was made from an old *.mod by Cartoon & Jelace. The file below is about 135k and can be played with anything. GSM compressed wave.
