Pretty much complete. Never done anything like this before, so comments are welcome.
Things I missed out are: Pots on R,G and B lines, and a dual pot on the L and R audio out. If you can't read my crappy writing just ask and I'll let you know what it says

Heh, Gotta go and buy the parts before I do anything. Another thing I forgot to mention is that I'm using DB15 Neo Geo Style Joysticks. I Can't be arsed to make my own so I'll just buy a NEo Stick.
Sucks if you want to use other arcade boards.At that point, build in compatability for all joysticks, and use the built in ports on the MVS (some boards have it, some dont) for the neo sticks. Best of both worlds there :)

Ahh, fair point. Although I have 2 spare pins on the DB-15, So I could always use them and build/mod a controller.
Or use a DB-25 and build an adaptor for neo controllers.
The only reason I'm so set on using neo controllers is that it means I don't have to build a stick - which I think would be shite.
I'm having some trouble with exactly this... I intend to build one supergun for use with my MVS, CPS2 and ST-V.... the latter two both use 6 buttons, but using different on-board connectors.Quote:

Yeah, I have that problem with my Speccy too, but I have no caps on the colour lines. I think it may be an issue with the composite sync voltage being too high, or *something* else, but I could just be talking shite. I should get out the ol' multimeter and compare the voltages from my DVD player or something...
My ST-V outputs the video signals at 1Vp-p instead of 0.7Vp-p like most other boards. I fixed it with a SCART socket, a SCART plug, three pots and lots of wire, though it's a pain to get the colours adjusted correctly. I have a few spare double-sided JAMMA fingerboards (the ones with a gap in the middle, for adaptors and the like) so when I next have some spare JAMMA edge connectors I might make up a little adaptor with trimpots on the signal lines. The middle pin goes to the Supergun, then the two ends go to the board and video ground respectively. Silvergun looks gorgeous once you cut the brightness down a bit :)Quote:

If you mean a line-level audio output I have a convertor I picked up from Maplin for about £6 which I never quite got around to adding :D Basically you give it power and the speaker-level amplified audio from the board, and it converts it into a pair of line-level outputs for you to plug into your normal speaker amp with. Easy enough to fix up :)Quote:
