I recently purchased a rare model 1 mega cd "japan version" from ebay it was sold as is so i recieved it fairly cheap. Anyways the console powers on fine and goes to bio screen with sound, but whenever I try and put in a disk the console makes a loud buzzing noise and refuses to read the disk. I have tried quite a few disks and none have worked. I first had trouble with the console ejecting disks, but now it ejects fine "after I fixed the alignment" but does not read any disk im very clueless on what it is doing ive never heard of a mega cd making loud buzzing noises when reading disks, but I just would love to get this working to play sonic cd Please if anyone knows anything on fixing a loud buzzing noise in model 1 mega cd's I would greatly appreciate your help. P.S. the buzzing noise sounds like its coming from the disk drive, but im not 100% sure.
