Ok, here are some questions for you hot shot PlayStation programmers.

1.) what are .RB files? (be specific, what can I do with them?)

2.) What is a .CCS file? And how can this be used to burn a disc? (two part question)

3.) What is "watcom"? Like for instance, a windows dos watcom map editor.

4.) Who has heard of PSXCHOP? What exactly does it do? (I have a definition, I want to see who else knows)

Thank you. While you guys are complaining about next gen systems, I'm having fun with the ole PSX. I can't afford a Xbox 360 and will not be able to touch a PS3 at that price. Maybe a wii, but I heard it's not that much better than a regular Xbox. (exception is the remotes)
Also, if I wanted to play old games, I would have kept my Wildcard and Z64.

I'll pick off the easy ones

2) cd generator creates ccs files, you either use cd generator to create a cci file from it ( which I guess the software for the official writer supports ) or convert them to cti files which buildcd uses & then convert the output to an iso.

3) watcom is a company that made one of the first 32bit dos compilers. useful for avoiding the 640k memory limit when using a 16bit compiler.

Where might I find something to convert CCS files to cti and then to ISO? I'm not about to hook my cd writer 900E and try to configure cd generator. I heard configuring that prog is a b*tch. Hopefully I won't have to use the ccs, but just in case I want to be prepared.

Ok, I the CD I have has buildcd, ccs2cti, and stripiso. What is the proper way to convert the CCS to CTI and then to an iso (bin/cue)? Is there a way to convert the .CCI to Iso (bin/cue)?

fyi, the .RB files I think were Red Book audio files.
