Going to Japan....

I'm going to Kyoto and Okinawa in 2 weeks from this Friday with my school. :smt043 I will probably be able to shop around a bit in these two places. Are there any good shops that anyone knows off with a good selection of games? I know for sure that we will spend a good portion of time shopping in the Kyoto Tower Building for stuff, so if anyone knows some cool stores in there let me know.

If you can get away from your school, head to Nipponbashi in Osaka. Osaka's only like 30-40 minutes away from Kyoto (nothing in Japanese terms) and is supposed to be comprable to Akihabara.

1.5 days till I leave for Tokyo, I'm heading to Kyoto for a day, think I could check Den Den Town in the same day?

Yeah, I'd think so, although you may not be able to carry out every store. Just try to set aside 3-4 hours and head down there.

Not sure how to get there though... just look for Nipponbashi station and you should be golden.
