That's pretty fascinating stuff.
How close was the M2 from releasing anyway? Seems like they went all out with the dev kits and whatnot only to pull the plug suddenly.

surely with all these consoles floating around there must be some software to go with them?

I remember reading on atariage forums a user was selling an M2 with 2 Games, however at the last minute pulled out and was never heard from again

Also there was talk here of porting the arcade games to the M2, but that thread died also :(
