This Kiosk I got from a pub for £20. Some of the letters were missing so I redid them using thick black electrical tape, and blue skicty back vinal for the swirl. You can see what it was like when I got it I sent some pics to DreamcastHistory.com > http://www.dreamcasthistory.com/dcheuro_extras.shtml (http://www.dreamcasthistory.com/dcheuro_extras.shtml)

As you can see most of my collection is UK stuff, but I have a few JAP and US things as well.

Sorry if some of the pics a rather large.

Let me know what you think.

Most of the collection is Sega, but I also own Sony, Nintendo, PC and X-Box stuff as well. I must have about another hundered non-sega games.
I relay like PSP thats why I own 2. Black one is 1.50 for emularors and homebrew. White one for orignal UMD games.

The clear computer on the left of the monitor is actualy an Amiga1200. the other is a real PC (because you cant run Half Life2 on the amiga;-) )

Very nice collection of Sega stuff! Might want to brace up those shelves though, they look like they're leaning forward a little. I'd be scared to be sitting at my computer and have a shelf full of games fall on my head... not to mention all the games getting damaged.

On another note, thats an awesome case you've got your Amiga in. It's good to catch another Amiga user every once in awhile on the boards here.

Very nice. I especially love that Dreamcast kiosk. While I like the US ones, they just don't seem quite as nice for some reason.

Think he just meant that he's not really that bothered, and it will come into his hands one way or another......and he calls himself a Sega fan........disgusting..... :P

Hi AmiBob, When I see a good condition copy of sonic 3 I will get it. I normaly rely on what I find at car-bootfairs and places like that I dont use e-bay that often because I prefer to pay and get what i want then and there.
I have noted recently that it is getting harder to find more things this way, and that e-bay will be more like my only chiose.

Yea I know what you mean :-( All the eBay sharks are at car boot sales now, snapping up all the consoles pretty quickly....seems to have really become a problem especially in the last few months.

Sorry if I'm seeming ignorant here, but what is a "car boot sale"? Is it something like a flea market here in the US?

Unorthodox
12-14-2005, 03:16 PM
Yea car boot sales are just like flea markets I suppose. Normally involves people loading their car up with all the crap they don't want, driving into a field early sunday morning with 100 or so others, putting the crap on a table and selling it. Then the people who bought it realise its crap, so they go to a car boot sale to sell it........*repeat until bored*

Yep, car boot sale =~ flea market. People bring cars fulled with junk, set up a table and sell said junk

Ok, I have added more games to the collection, about another 30 including Panzer dragoon Saga. also had a reorganise. removed from view the cdr games (for backup and emulation perposes only) to gain more space, and made the display look more interesting overall.
I will post more pics when i get home from work.

Is Saga the "rare" one for the Saturn?

Is Saga the "rare" one for the Saturn?

Panzer Dragoon Saga is quite rare in the uk. But is much easier to get a copy of than somthing like "Radent Silver Gun" from japan. I also have a mint condition copy of Burning Rangers, thats rathr rare.

I have the new pics ready.

You are missing the light off the top of your kiosk/pod, but you have both controller cages, mine has one missing... my letters are also peeling in exactly the same place, so must be a design fault.

I must say though, very nice restoration job!

That Light looks good. I have seen pics in sega mags of the kiosk with the light.
The previos owner had the unit in a pub (thats why some letters were picked off) then they got an x-box pod and sent the dreamcast down to the bacement. thats where my dad found it when he came to service the fire alarms. he payed £20 for it and got it home in his van. It came with console, controlers and screen. Also a pre-production copy of Crazy Taxi2.
The light might have been removed to fit below the low seeling, I did call then later but they could not find the top light.

£20 including the screen is an awesome price, I need to find a metal fabricator who can build me another cage for the pads. I wouldn't want to try it myself, I want it looking reasonably authentic.
