Hi there, had a rifle through your forum archives and I know the prototype for these pads has been discussed before, quick link to a site on the release version so people know what I'm talking about here: http://www.the-nextlevel.com/features/hardware/dual-analog-pad/

I currently own one of these (EU version) and it's cable is a little tattered but still usable, it's probably the most comfortable gamepad I've used and it's stuck with me because of that over the years, currently connected to my PC via a USB adaptor but would really like to add a second alongside it (preferably in better condition).

The Sony product codes for this specific pad were SCPH-1180 for the US/EU version without rumble feature, and I believe SCPH-1150 for the Japanese release *with* rumble feature included. I'd be really interested in buying one or several of these pads, if someone happens to have the Japanese version and doesn't mind selling it then even better, I've got a limited budget though so hopefully not too expensive. I'd be looking for 1x EU/US (SCPH-1180), and 2x JAP (SCPH-1150), postage would need to cover UK shipping plus insurance and tracking.

I have actually seen the 1180 version on the German eBay site a fair few times lately but sadly they've either not been listed as selling to regions outside of Germany or they just didn't reply to me when I e-mailled the seller a question, I've never seen the Japanese version though as quite honestly I wouldn't know where to begin, UK and US eBay are a dead loss for this kind of thing.

Ok, we're nicely into the New Year now with the holidays out of the way, so I figured I'd give this topic a bit of a bump. I'm still looking for the above, and have a bit more cash to throw about now than I did at the close of 2005, so if anyone's interested in selling let me know. :icon_bigg

I could probably come up with the 1180's if i look around a bit. The gamestops by my house usually have some. Let me see what they're charging these days and i'll get back to you.
