View Full Version : Europeans get them first: PS3 and Revolution

Well mate, I think we all goin to europe in 2006, since there Amazon france is making preorders for both PS3 (march 15) and revolution (june 16).

Now with the price: they first said that PS3 was goin to be at 299€, then changed to the more reasonable 399€ ("PS3 iz goin to b xpensive yo" kutaragi). At that price it wont include wires, CPU nor bluray, just the silver thing, which is usefull to make a BBQ

The revo on the other hand is goin for 365USD. which is pretty expensive, since nintendo said that revo would be made of chiken legs and human ass-hair, thus making it inexpensive and good material for jackass-like stuns :smt043

Honestly, I think the french have legaliced the marijuana

well I think that we in europe deserves to have them first and that the rest of you none-europen have to wait atleast a half-year before you get yours..

no way in hell a japanese console is released in europe first. If europeans want a console first, make one like MS did...

We're used to getting consoles first. It would be tougher on us. Think: we've never known crappy console release dates. It would drive us insane. You guys are used to it.

well AUS get stuff as test marketing before releasing into main PAL territories from what I heard... not sure whether this is still on with current gen though

well.. we europen ALLWAYS has to wait cuz SOME countrys just don't want to learn english.. so they must make speciall translations for those countrys :mad:

Not to mention we use the wrong (or to put it in another way, right) frequency on our TVs and a half-decent resolution, so most games have to be "converted" (i.e. ruined) to work over here. Though with HDTV, standards conversions will be a thing of the past!
