"massively multiplayer shooter/role-playing game, which is headed to the PC and Xbox in 2005"
And it has vehicles of all sorts, mechs, things that sort of resembler ghosts from Halo and other stuff. I've been wanting to see a game that is massively multiplayer with like one HUUUUUUUGE world and being cruel to lost noobs with a sniper rifle.:D This game has been in development for like 4 years, too. I just didnt know about it, till now.
Anyone play a demo or whatever to know what its like?

*off topic*
Do you play Arc The Lad End of Darkness multiplayer?? I should be getting it soon. Since you're an arc fan too I was thinking we can do some quests together online..

Man, I did some more screen shot searching on this game, and Im confused. I saw one shot of a castle with an army of ogres and armor and crap, and you are a knight. Its quite strange to have that in a MMOFPS/RPG game. Maybe it will be explained...

I've never heard of Micro Forte. But it looks interesting.
My only concern would be that sometimes games in development that long can show their age when it comes to their graphic engines. If they are using a graphics engine from 4 or 5 years ago, it'll show. But I do know there is more to games than just graphics (before I get flamed on that)

Didnt Advent Rising have that problem? I saw screens and didnt think it looked too bad. Has anyone actually played Advent Rising? I dont think I can trust Gamespots reviews or the millions of noobs and casual gamers reviews for it.

I've never played that. I also heard Driv3r had that problem, but never had any interest in playing that game so I wouldn't know firsthand.

[ sarcasm] but only if the guns made that nice springloaded "ka-ching" sound like the nes ones. [/sarcasm]

Advent Rising is an ok Action/Adventure game. The storyline is decent along the lines of the Matrix.

That and I could hold up a magnifying glass up to the gun and practically everyone on the screen in one shot :D.

My teacher worked on Citizen Zero before Microsoft pulled out of the publishing deal and the MicroForte offices(well it's just one room actually) are right next to my school.
We got to go over a few weeks ago and they showed us a video of zero in action. Looks nice.

Wouldn't PlanetSide fit that description?

Well, we are talking about consoles. Im sure pc gaming has several MMOFPS type games already, if Planetside isnt already one.
