I'm guessing you've been over to benheck.com then for some building info.

I was working on a portable n64 a while back. Got it all wired with a gutted PSone screen and running off batteries but never finished a case for it. Not enough time lately. It probably wouldn't run for more than 20 minutes or so anyway since I don't want to spend the cash on lithium batteries.

On a separate note, I'm not sure if this is in the right forum... it is possibly obscure but maybe general discussion or OT would be a better spot?? just a thought.

no i started building portables when i first thought about hacking game consoles as a matter of fact the first game console i hacked was a gba sp to play genesis cartidges and thats when i started contrusting my on cases from engraving plastic and arylic wood so far i build one snes portable( and trust me dealing with a snes is a big porblem you have to get the cartidge contanier just right in order to get it to fit)

no i started building portables when i first thought about hacking game consoles as a matter of fact the first game console i hacked was a gba sp to play genesis cartidges and thats when i started contrusting my on cases from engraving plastic and arylic wood so far i build one snes portable( and trust me dealing with a snes is a big porblem you have to get the cartidge contanier just right in order to get it to fit)

I just noticed there wasn't a single period in that sentence :D . All those creations are tight! On your profile, it shows you are 15 yrs, a month younger than me. That's impressive!

i canīt punctate either. So donīt point fingers at him either. Strider thumps up for your portable project.And second i just donīt want to use curses, although at times i think them alot when i am writing, since it is really pissing me off at times when people are pointing fingers.

I was just playing with him, that's why I had put the smiley in the other post :smt083. I tend to mess-up sometimes, especially when making New Threads: "Anyone ready for the nes Harry Potter book", when it should have read *new*.

How are you able to create the handhelds and supply it with a screen? How long did all these take? I would love to try a handheld N64 :).

Well couldn't say I saw that coming. I would think anyone who is trying to brag about doing something they didn't really do wouldn't use pictures from a well known website. Although claiming to "hack a gba sp to play genesis carts" was a pretty good indication that he was a lying sack of rare african flying monkey shit.

and fir sime reason insted of doing everything he did i did things a lot different i make the cases a different (i dont vaccume) and i modfied mines with blue leds ( so typically its sort of my creations to) and oh yeah mines has a spot for the online adaptrer

so what im trying to say he porvided me with info on how to build it like showing me the mother borad and what type of batteries it needs to run off and i did mines another way

and ohh yeah tghe term the other guy used can be considerd racist to me( and oh yeah you be better of at trying to build a portable n64 no offense but the ds sucks some times and be very careful a 64 board will fry very easy it took me 12 64s to get it right and dont drop it you can kill very easy so if you drop your doom if your mother board frys well you get the picture
