Not a very exiting place. The whole centre of P'boro is owned by Luminar Leisure Corp. so it's the capital of cheese - Chicago Rock cafe, Liquid (ultimate cheese club) and other shite commercial places.
And there's one small bar that lets all the local sound systems DJ, and bang out the vicious rollin D n' B, or pump some funky House out. And thats it. Oh, and there's a comicbook stall on the market on Saturdays. Has a good Manga selection.
Which is why I spend my time :smt024 whilst :smt033 and :drinkers:

Australia is pretty poor for gaming. We get shafted like all the other PAL territories but on top of it we have ONE reliable importer(Burn). Problem is their prices are insane(Fire Pro D, Shenmue and SOA all cost me around US$75 each when they first came out).
The only real thing(s) Australia has going for it are that it is a fairly safe country and we have the best sport in the world(Rugby League).

Let me see if I understood. You don't like the french because they sold weapons to Iraq?
Just out of curiosity, did you know that the USA trained and gave (yes the word is gave) weapons to both Iraq and Osama Bin Laden?
Edit: mispelled the word "see"

youre right yceman...now were mopping up our mess and taking care of what should have been 14 years ago...Nothing against the French as a people but their government tends to cause problems and let other fix them. Surprised they're still a country.. :smt017
Maybe the U.S. can save them when theyre in trouble....they will be in trouble someday from riding the fence.

Technically, we have helped save the French in both World Wars...
However, I think it's rather unfair to dog on the French for refusing to support our little escapade in Iraq - no foreign country is under any obligation to do anything of that sort for the US, and I really think all the "France sucks, ha ha" sentiment that has popped up with all this war crap going on is very out of line :axe: .
Not directed at anyone here, specifically, just a point.

It would be very interesting to see what kind of people hang out around this messega board. Let me start by introducing myself.
I'm obsessed with cars and dreamcast. I love nissan the most. I hate honda and pony cars. Pulsar vz-r beats civic si, silvia spec r beats integra type r, fairlady z350 beats s2000, skyline gtr beats nsx. Toyota is ok. My obsession with dreamcast? I have vga box, keyboard and mouse (I want boardband), always go online with dc, would want a dc than 2 ps2s. open the dc and put copper coins inside to act as heatsink. Use the monitor for dc more than for computer. I am chinese from HK, came to boring and old tech canada 9 yrs ago, but I never admit i'm canadian citizen. I always wonder why I didn't immigrate to the UK instead of here. I'm 17, I visit here to see and discuss rare game stuff, and see dc stuff. I come here twice a day, more than car boards.
