I play many other games too. Including:

Cho Ren Sha 68k - Without doubt the best 2D shooter for PC I've ever played. And it's free!!!

Other than that, it's mostly MAME...

I used to play:

- Unreal Tournament - Great Deathmatch
- Quake III - One of my all time favourites
- Team Fortress Classic (HL Mod) - the first team based game i played. Only stopped playing it because the game still looks like it's from 1998, while all HL mods have had graphical updates. A shame really. Never played it again after Day of Defeat was released.

Nowadays i play:

- Day of Defeat (HL Mod) - hope they fix all bugs, so we can go back to the days of fun that Beta 3.1 was
- Counter-Strike (HL Mod) - play mostly with friends
- Firearms (HL Mod) - not too much these days...

I prefer close combat games, that's why i never liked Battlefield 1942, even though i bought them, and played for a while. The field is so big, everybody is far away, and there's always some people not willing to help or play the right way. In BF 1942 is worse, because some people from your team kill you just because you got a plane or other vehicle. That is just dumb.

Anyway, i'm planning to get UT2K4, but before i'll upgrade my PC.

Cho Ren Sha 68K is the best. Tyrian and Raptor are ok. CRS though runs TOO FAST on my PC.

Did you know Cho Ren Sha 68k was a port from an old shooter for x68000, by Toaplan? The PC version just a conversion I believe...

There are many smacktards who are assholes, as a server admin myself i've banned a shitload! However, on decent serevrs you cna get some damned good teamwork and request assholes be kicked or banned :)
